Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Controller specializing in Real Estate within the premium Residential Construction sector. This position is based in Bengaluru. The Finance Controller will oversee financial management, including preparing financial statements, financial reporting, and budgeting. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, analyzing financial data, overseeing accounting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

• Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Analysis of financial statements and MIS reporting
• Cost control, variance analysis, and profitability improvement
• Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Coordination with auditors
• Support management with financial insights and decision-making
• Handling month-end and year-end closing activities

Qualifications

• Strong Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills, including the ability to prepare and analyze financial documents accurately.
• Expertise in Accounting practices, ensuring compliance with real estate industry standards and regulations.
• Proficient Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
• In-depth understanding of Finance principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
• Educational qualification: Degree in Finance, Accounting, CA (Inter) or a related field; a CPA or CMA certification is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in real estate or residential construction finance is must.
