Job Description

  • Manage month-end activities, statutory compliances, taxation and audits.
  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Ensure effective budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring optimal allocation of financial resources.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Drive financial process improvements and cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Controller should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting - qualified chartered accountant.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to financial management.
  • Proven experience in the energy, infrastructure or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • A results-driven attitude with a focus on achieving business objectives.
