Controller, Intercompany Accounting
Position Summary
Ceragon Networks is seeking an experienced Controller to own and manage global intercompany (IC) accounting and reconciliations across worldwide subsidiaries. The role is based in Bangalore and operates as part of the HQ finance function, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP and internal controls in a public‑company environment.
The position is designed as an
HQ controllership role with full ownership of global intercompany accounting, including:
- End‑to‑end responsibility for global intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
- Direct impact on consolidated US GAAP financial statements
- Active involvement in quarter‑end and year‑end close, external audits, and SOX controls
- Acting as the primary HQ point of contact for intercompany matters with global subsidiaries
- Regular interaction across multiple time zones, including US working hours
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes globally
- Prepare, review, and resolve monthly intercompany reconciliations and differences
- Ensure accurate intercompany eliminations as part of the consolidation process
- Lead intercompany activities during month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close
- Coordinate intercompany balance confirmations with global finance teams
- Support internal and external audits related to intercompany accounting
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX requirements, and company policies
- Partner with tax, treasury, FP&A, and regional finance teams on intercompany transactions
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation of IC processes
Working Across Time Zones (Mandatory Requirement)
- Must be comfortable working in a global HQ role requiring regular interaction across multiple time zones, including the US, Europe, and Asia
- Flexibility to adjust working hours (early mornings / late evenings) is required, particularly during close cycles and critical reporting periods
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–8+ years of experience in a multinational environment
- Strong hands‑on experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite / SAP / Oracle – advantage)
- CPA / CA or equivalent certification – preferred
