Role:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to take complete ownership of the finance function. The role requires hands-on control over accounts, audits, GST, taxation, P&L and balance sheet, along with strong experience inM&A, investor readiness, financial modeling, D2C business acquisitions, and company investments. The person will work closely with founders and leadership on strategic and financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownend-to-end finance and accountsincludingP&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and monthly closures
- Leadstatutory, internal, tax, and GST auditsend to end
- Ensurecomplete GST compliance filings, reconciliations, notices, and assessments
- Handledirect and indirect taxationincluding income tax, TDS, assessments, and compliances
- Prepare and manageinvestor data, presentations, MIS, and financial models
- Supportfundraising, M&A activities, and D2C business acquisitionsincluding due diligence, valuations, and integrations
- Managecompany investmentsincluding evaluation, structuring, returns analysis, and compliance
- Design and monitor theinvestment portfolio, aligned with business and treasury strategy
- Drivebudgeting, forecasting, and financial planningaligned with business growth
- Set up and strengthenfinancial controls, processes, and SOPs
- Act as a strategic finance partner to founders, providingclear financial insights for decision-making
Mandatory Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
- 812 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience inM&A and D2C business acquisition
- Strong experience ininvestor data preparation, presentations, and financial modeling
- Hands-on audit experience(statutory, internal, GST, tax)
- Complete working knowledge of GST and taxation
- Strong control overP&L, balance sheet, and cash flows
- Experience inD2C brandspreferred
