Role & Responsibilities
- Track and identify important market news, corporate developments, and macroeconomic trends to create timely and relevant articles.
- Write blogs, news explainers, and SEO-friendly content from scratch with clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Maintain an editorial calendar of key financial and market events (results season, policy updates, major listings, etc.).
- Ensure data authenticity by sourcing information from credible outlets like NSE, BSE, SEBI, RBI, company filings, and verified financial databases.
- Use insights from data and trends to create original, high-quality content not rewrites of other articles.
- Maintain quick and apt writing on time timeliness without compromising accuracy.
- Monitor content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, rankings) and adapt strategy when needed.
What We're Looking For (Skills And Experience)
- 4-5 years of experience in finance writing ideally from a newsroom, brokerage, fintech, or business publication.
- Strong understanding of stock markets, trading, investing, and key financial terms (non-negotiable).
- Ability to write quick and write right crisp, factual, and time-sensitive.
- Excellent research and analytical skills to fetch authentic data from reliable sources and cross-verify information.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices for blogs and articles.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools.
- Understanding of where to find the right data from NSE, BSE, SEBI, RBI, CMIE, to company filings.
- Experience writing for a fintech, trading app, or business publication.
- A natural curiosity for markets someone who doesn't just report news but understands what it means.
