The purpose of this role is to provide financial advice and guidance to the business leaders for Finance Services in support of the achievement of profit and/or margin targets.

Key responsibilities:
- Reviews and provides advice on strategic financial plans in partnership with business leaders
- Partners to provide insight and challenge through financial analysis to enable business partners to make key decisions and achieve targets
- Prepares and analyses consolidated financial performance, including budgets, forecasts and actuals, and provides interpretation, insight and guidance
- Identifies and drives operational improvement through analysis of financial plans, management information and performance
- Works with business leaders to understand short, medium and long-term resource requirements and impact on forecasts and budgets
- Supports analysis of transitions to Finance Services and identifies and supports initiatives to improve profitability/margin
- Supports the Finance Services Leadership team as necessary with high quality and insightful analysis as requested from time to time and works with them to deliver impact with the business
- Supports the implementation of best practice financial planning techniques in line with business needs and supports initiatives to improve the quality and consistency of business and finance data
- Lead on internal cost recharging mechanism, preparing internal rate cards and seat costs charges and monitoring actual charges against budget
Experience And Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant 7 to 10 Years PQE (CA/CIMA or equivalent)/ Semi-qualified accountant/ Finance graduate with 12 - 14 years experience
- Previous experience of FP&A
- Demonstrable experience of informed review and analysis of results and forecasts
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Good communication skills, confident with working across functions and levels
- Advanced Excel and Modelling skills
