Salt is hiring a Finance Business Partner responsible for partnering with business leaders to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across the APAC region. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing financial insights that support business growth, operational efficiency, and investment decisions.
This is a contract role based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional business leaders to develop financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Provide financial analysis, business case evaluations, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Monitor financial performance through variance analysis, KPI reporting, and management dashboards.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Marketing, Public Relations, and Operations teams to optimize spending and improve financial governance.
- Drive expense management initiatives and identify opportunities for cost optimization while supporting business growth.
- Develop financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, operational improvements, and resource allocation.
- Support executive leadership through preparation of presentations, board materials, and management reports.
- Improve finance processes by leveraging automation, business intelligence, and data analytics.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, internal controls, and governance standards.
- Build strong partnerships across regional and global teams to align financial priorities and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, corporate finance, or strategic finance.
- Experience supporting regional or global business functions within multinational organizations.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience partnering with Marketing, Procurement, Operations, or Corporate Functions is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with business intelligence and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural environments.
