What will be your key responsibilities
- Execute financial and tax due diligence assignments for M&A, investment and secondary transactions, identifying key risks, financial adjustments and deal-relevant findings.
- Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports and present findings to clients, highlighting risk areas, deal breakers and negotiation points.
- Build, review and maintain financial models for startups, including revenue projections, working capital analyses and scenario modelling.
- Coordinate and quality-check valuation reports, liaising with registered valuers and ensuring alignment with transaction timelines.
- Manage multiple engagement timelines, coordinate with counterparty advisors and maintain client communication.
What are the key requirements for the role
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Post-qualification work experience of 23 years with a strong foundation in statutory audit at a Big 4, mid-tier or reputed practice - wanting to move out out of audit role
- Prior experience in financial due diligence or transaction advisory is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
