Responsibilities

The Finance Associate will work directly with the Finance Manager. Since iTeach Schools is ten years old and expanding fast, we are looking for people who are eager to implement the most effective and compliant systems and processes, combining researched best practices with their own contextual innovation.

I - Finance Management

  • Review and approve school and Central office expenses, ensuring adherence to financial policies and budgets.
  • Facilitate bank payments and manage the reimbursement process for bills submitted by staff members and payroll processing.
  • Utilise financial software, including Tally, to maintain financial records accurately in hard and soft.
  • Manage cash flow, petty cash, and donations.
  • Respond to internal teams budgets, approvals, and expense queries.

II - Compliance and Reporting

  • Handle regulatory compliance-related financial tasks, including PF, ESIC, PT, and TDS calculations, payments, and follow-ups.
  • Analyse financial data and assist with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
  • Collaborate with CA and CS professionals for any audits or reporting requirements.
  • Reporting - monthly reconciliation, quarterly and annual reports, internal and external.
  • Create Fund Utilization Reports as per donor requirements.
  • Provide valuable inputs to enhance finance, accounting, and reporting systems
  • Provide support for iTeach Schools in completing FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) requirements.

III - Stakeholder Management and Operation Support

  • Collaborate closely with school administrative staff to address financial needs and concerns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and funding partners to ensure seamless financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to provide financial support for various events at the team and organisational levels.
  • Visit banks, vendors, and partners to ensure effective coordination of financial tasks and activities.

Prerequisites

  • Qualification: Commerce Graduate or Inter-CA or MBA Finance
  • Minimum five years of work experience in Finance
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance processes
  • Advanced understanding of Tally, Excel and MS Office

Compensation and Benefits: We take pride in offering competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with the candidate's education and work experience. The salary range for this position ranges from 4.32 - 5.28 LPA CTC, and we are dedicated to providing top-notch industry benefits.
