About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate – Fund Raising to support the company's capital management and financing activities. This role will play a critical part in debt fundraising, lender management, financial modeling, project finance, and transaction execution for large-scale residential and commercial real estate developments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis skills, exposure to fundraising and credit processes, and a solid understanding of real estate finance. This is an execution-focused role that involves direct interaction with lenders, investors, and internal stakeholders while supporting ongoing funding transactions and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Fund Raising & Debt Financing:
- Support debt fundraising initiatives through banks, NBFCs, HFCs, and other financial institutions.
- Assist in debt syndication activities including lender identification, documentation, coordination, and execution support.
- Prepare lender presentations, credit notes, project summaries, and funding proposals.
- Conduct comparative analysis of financing options, term sheets, and borrowing structures.
- Support negotiations through financial analysis and cost-comparison reports.
Financial Analysis & Modeling:
- Prepare and maintain CMA (Credit Monitoring Arrangement) data for credit facilities and lender submissions.
- Develop and update financial models including:
- Three-statement financial models
- Cash flow projections
- Project feasibility models
- IRR and NPV analysis
- Sensitivity and scenario analysis
- Build and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning models.
- Analyze project-level and company-level financial performance.
Lender & Investor Management:
- Serve as the primary coordinator for routine lender interactions and information requests.
- Maintain lender databases, pipeline trackers, and funding status reports.
- Coordinate due diligence processes with lenders, consultants, and investors.
- Support equity fundraising initiatives through investor presentations, data room preparation, and financial documentation.
- Assist in managing investor communication and periodic reporting requirements.
Compliance & Transaction Execution:
- Coordinate documentation for funding transactions, including:
- Facility agreements
- Loan documentation
- Security creation and release processes
- Drawdown requests
- Utilization certificates
- End-use monitoring reports
- Support statutory filings including:
- CHG-1
- CHG-4
- CERSAI filings
- NeSL registrations
- Monitor covenant compliance and proactively identify potential risks or breaches.
MIS & Reporting:
- Prepare periodic MIS reports for management review.
- Monitor budget versus actual performance and variance analysis.
- Generate reports for lenders, investors, and senior management.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and analysis.
Documentation & Process Control:
- Maintain organized physical and digital records of funding transactions and lender documentation.
- Ensure documentation is updated, secure, and easily retrievable.
- Adhere to internal financial controls, approval workflows, and compliance standards.
- Support audit requirements and information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:
