Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Dhruva Space is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Associate to support and strengthen our finance operations and analytical functions. This full-time role involves managing core financial activities, ensuring compliance, and contributing to data-driven decision-making within a dynamic, innovation-focused space-tech environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, solid accounting knowledge, and the ability to independently handle finance responsibilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Manage daily finance operations such as bookkeeping, internal documentation, reconsiderations, and report generation.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform variance analysis, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for audits, compliance requirements, and other finance-related matters.
- Conduct industry and competitor research to support strategic and financial decision-making.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
- Handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. Candidates with CA Inter or MBA in Finance are preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with accounting/ERP software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
