Role Description And Ideal Candidate

This role will be responsible for overseeing statutory and internal audits of the group in compliance with Ind AS. The ideal candidate should possess expert knowledge in Ind AS financial preparation, demonstrate strong audit coordination skills, and ensure timely closure of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support statutory and internal audits by providing requisite explanations and assistance to auditors, ensuring timely resolution and completion without qualifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor corrective actions.
• Prepare quarterly and yearly financial statements in accordance with Ind AS.
• Review trial balance before each month-end and ensure timely completion of closing activities.
• Regularly review balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Provide periodic updates on regulatory changes to senior management.
• Support SAP processes and assist business teams with certificate requirements.
• Ensure compliance in relation to issue of shares, including obtaining valuation reports.
  
  

Expertise And Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years experience in an audit firm.
• Proven experience in handling audits and complex accounting transactions.
• Sound knowledge of IND AS.
• Work experience on accounting software like SAP is an added advantage. Well versed with MS Excel, word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
