About the Role
We're seeking a recently qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years in a startup environment— someone eager to go beyond bookkeeping. This role bridges finance, operations, and strategy in our fast-growing electric mobility and energy business.
You'll work directly with the business team to build and scale an infrastructure-heavy venture from the ground up. It's a true 0→1 and 1→10 adventure, where structure is built alongside execution.
What You'll Do
Strategic Finance
- Work on financial modelling, forecasting, and business planning
- Support fundraising, investor decks, and data rooms
- Contribute to expansion decisions (new regions, fleet scale, infrastructure deployment)
- Build and streamline finance processes
Business Finance & Operations
- Support monitoring cost structures across vehicles, energy, and operations
- Support pricing, cost optimization, and margin improvement initiatives
- Bring financial discipline into day-to-day business decisions
Accounting & Compliance
- Own day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC)
- Prepare financial statements, MIS, and cash flow reports with real-time business visibility
- Work directly with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Recently qualified CA (0–1 years) with strong fundamentals in accounting, taxation, compliance, and Excel proficiency (financial modeling mindset preferred).
- High ownership mindset and attention to detail, paired with sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

About The Company
Arbor Mobility is a 2W EV start-up based out of Bengaluru, India. We at Arbor Mobility are developing a performance two-wheeler EV motorcycle. The three Co-Founders have done their Masters in Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, and have worked for various Automotive companies in India and the USA and are now determined to create something exciting in the EV space. The company was started in November, 2022 and is now rapidly expanding. We, at Arbor Mobility are trying to answer the basic question of how to increase the adoption of EVs in India. EV usage is a paradigm shift in consumer behaviour. It requires us to think how to tackle the issues such as charging, range anxiety & safety for a consumer. We at Arbor Mobility think it is essential to make it easy for the customers to switch to EVs. Hence, we have taken an innovative customer centric approach for our product development.
