As a Finance Associate at Growfin.ai, you will play a critical role in supporting the finance team with core finance operations, financial analysis, reporting, and compliance activities. Skills & Qualification
- CA / CMA Qualified with strong academic background
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and compliance
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and structured working style
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to SaaS metrics like ARR, MRR, churn, retention (nice to have)
- Familiarity with accounting tools (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Netsuite or similar) (nice to have)
- Internship experience in Finance, or Audit (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and Management Information System (MIS) reports, analyzing financial data and identifying trends and variances to inform business decisions
- Support variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities, ensuring that financial projections are accurate and aligned with business goals
- Perform revenue and cost analysis, especially in a SaaS model (ARR/MRR insights), providing actionable insights to inform business strategy and drive growth
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Support statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, and company-level filings, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits, ensuring that all audit requirements are met and that audit findings are addressed
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation as per internal controls, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported
- Support procurement, vendor onboarding, invoice verification, and expense management, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly processed and reported
- Work cross-functionally with Board, HR, Sales, and Operations for finance-related queries, providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decision-making
- Assist in improving financial and administrative processes and adopting best practices, ensuring that financial operations are efficient and effective
