Job Title: Finance Associate – Banking & Payments

Location: Gurugram (Candidate must be willing to relocate)

Experience: 1–2 years

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Associate with a strong focus on banking

operations, payment processing, and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate should have

hands-on experience in managing payment cycles, resolving transaction issues such as bounced or

failed payments, and performing detailed reconciliations across bank statements and payment

gateways. Strong Excel skills and a working knowledge of GST and TDS are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end banking operations, including payment processing, tracking

inflows/outflows, and coordinating with banks.

Manage payment execution cycles, including vendor payments, customer refunds, and

internal transfers.

Perform bank reconciliations (daily/weekly/monthly) and identify discrepancies.

Handle payment failures, bounced transactions, and re-raising of payments, ensuring

timely resolution.

Conduct reconciliation of payment gateways (Razorpay or similar platforms) and resolve

mismatches.

Maintain and track payment records, reconciliation reports, and audit trails.

Use Excel extensively for reconciliation, tracking, and reporting (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables,

etc.).

Assist in ensuring proper GST & TDS treatment in banking and payment-related entries.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (banks, vendors, payment

partners) to resolve issues efficiently.

Support month-end closing activities related to banking and payments.

Take ownership of payment-related processes and ensure adherence to timelines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in banking operations, payment processing, or finance roles.

Strong proficiency in Excel and data reconciliation.

Hands-on experience in bank reconciliation, payment tracking, and issue resolution

(bounces, retries, etc.).

Experience with payment gateways (Razorpay or similar) is preferred.

Working knowledge of GST and TDS concepts.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willingness to relocate to Gurugram.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

Experience with accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.

Exposure to payment reconciliation systems or treasury operations.

Basic understanding of MIS and financial reporting.
