An opportunity to join a professional finance environment associated with the Oberoi Group. The role is suitable for
Commerce graduates, including freshers, who demonstrate strong aptitude, a positive attitude, numerical ability,
computer proficiency and the potential to grow into higher levels of responsibility with experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
• Record and maintain financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with invoice processing, verification and documentation.
• Support Accounts Payable activities and vendor documentation.
• Assist with ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
• Assist with bank and other account reconciliations.
• Verify supporting documents for financial transactions.
• Assist with journal entries and basic accounting adjustments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist senior team members with financial reports and MIS.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments and documentation.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Follow company SOPs, internal controls and confidentiality requirements.
• Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Candidate Requirements
• Graduate in Commerce; B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Freshers are welcome; relevant finance/accounts experience is an advantage.
• Strong aptitude for numbers, accuracy and logical thinking.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and potential for career progression.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts such as debit/credit, journal entries, ledgers and reconciliations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a structured, professional and deadline-driven environment.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information.
