This Position reports to:

Senior Project Finance Manager

The Robotics Finance Transformation Program mission is the design, build up, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Finance function of the company following its spin-off, ensuring that Finance operates as a scalable, efficient, compliant, and insight-driven partner to the business.

In this role you will oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive data models, process workflows, and systems architectures that align with the organization's financial goals. This individual will be instrumental in transforming the way financial data is captured, stored, processed, and used to enable smarter business decisions while ensuring data governance, compliance, and scalability across global finance operations.

The role reports to the Head of the Finance Transformation Program.

The location is flexible within Europe. Bangalore, India may also be considered.

Working model is hybrid #LI-hybrid

Your role and responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end finance process and data architectures that support the financial operations across the organization.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Finance Process and Data Architects, each responsible for a specific finance process (P2P, R2R, O2C, P2D, Tax, and TRE).
  • Define best practices for finance data management, ensuring that process workflows and data models meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that the architecture is scalable, adaptable, and integrates seamlessly with other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure that data models and data flows across finance processes are well-structured, optimized, and in line with business needs
  • Lead efforts to define and implement data governance standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and security of financial data.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance GPOs and Function Leads, and IT, to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
  • Drive the selection and implementation of appropriate tools, technologies, and platforms that support the architecture of finance processes and data.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative and new technologies, including AI, that can improve finance process efficiency, data quality, and system integration as well as data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to track the performance of finance processes and data architecture.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to senior leadership on the status of architecture initiatives, including challenges, successes, and areas for improvement.

Experience

  • University level education in Economics/Finance/Management/Business Engineering or similar field.
  • Significant experience (15+ years) in finance process and data architecture, with expertise in key finance processes such as P2P, R2R, O2C, P2D, Tax, and TRE.
  • Strong knowledge of finance systems, data management practices, ERP solutions in particular SAP 4Hana, and financial data governance.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, with a focus on driving collaboration and aligning teams to shared business objectives.
  • Experience leading large-scale initiatives and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable data architectures.
  • In-depth understanding of data governance frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices in financial data management.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex ideas into clear and actionable strategies.
  • Ability to lead, manage and work across strategic programs and all M&A phases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
