Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Accounts Intern to support our finance department. The intern will assist with day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, financial analysis, and reporting. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance and accounting while developing your skills in a dynamic and growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and Record Keeping:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into accounting systems.
- Help prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Help in managing accounts payable and receivable by tracking outstanding invoices and payments.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and processing vendor payments.
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Assist in maintaining financial records in both physical and digital formats.
Other Duties
- Support special projects and initiatives within the finance department.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving financial processes.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
