Finance and Accounts Head

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning and projections for expansion into new markets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define, refine, and implement departmental goals and strategic financial initiatives.
• Conduct competitor analysis and price benchmarking to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive commercial discussions and negotiations in coordination with Sales or Business SPOCs.
• Forecast manpower costs and budget allocations for new market penetration.
• Liaise with the Legal team to review and vet contracts and business terms.
• Support the Sales team in commercial and terms discussions.
• Oversee customer invoicing and payment tracking, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Optimize entity structure for business scalability and efficient funds/payments management.
• Lead fundraising efforts, including:
• Financial modeling
• Investor communication
• Due diligence (DD)
• Negotiations with Venture Capital (VC) firms
• Create and maintain financial projections and fundraising plans aligned with business objectives.
• Execute the company's overall financial strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Establish and manage financial controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and financial integrity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Mandatory).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is required.
• Minimum 8+ years of overall experience, with 3+ years in a senior financial managerial role within IT or technology-based companies.
• SaaS industry experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in global entity structuring and financial planning.
• Hands-on experience with VC fundraising, including due diligence and term negotiations, is a strong plus.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic, results-driven thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
