Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for an Accounting and Finance Executive at Deepsense Digital, Chennai. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, handling journal entries, and supporting financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
• Post and review journal entries and general ledger transactions
• Perform account reconciliations and financial data analysis
• Work extensively with MS Excel for reporting, reconciliation, and data management
• Use and manage accounting processes through ERP software
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely closure of accounts
• Collaborate closely with internal teams for financial coordination

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance
• Strong expertise in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
• Working knowledge of any ERP / accounting software
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
