Job Description

Role : Finance and Accounting Specialist

Location: Begumpet,Hyderabad

Job Type : Fulltime

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting Specialist based in Begumpet, Hyderabad, with 5+ years of experience in domestic finance and accounting, preferably supporting recruitment companies. This role will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with Indian tax regulations, and preparing accurate Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet statements, along with other financial reports for the India region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Finance and Domestic accounting operations for the India region
  • Maintain accurate accounting records using Tally, Zoho Books, and other accounting systems
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
  • Generate, review, and manage invoices, collections, and receivables follow-ups
  • Perform and review bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, journal entries, MIS reports, Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, and Balance Sheets
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ensure GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
  • Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and statutory returns
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls
  • Utilize MS Excel for reconciliations, reporting, financial analysis, and preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: B.Com (M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter preferred)
  • Experience:5+ years in Finance & Domestic Accounting
  • Experience preferably supporting recruitment companies
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books
  • Hands-on expertise in AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliations, GST, TDS, and preparation of P&L & Balance Sheet statements
  • Practical experience with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and TDS returns
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
