- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in financial operations, fund accounting, portfolio accounting, or a reporting/control function.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a control-focused, deadline-driven environment.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
- Perform root cause analysis on breaks, exceptions, and reporting discrepancies by tracing issues across upstream/downstream data flows, system setup, and accounting treatment.
- Solid understanding of trade lifecycles, financial instruments, and portfolio/accounting concepts, including valuations, accruals, reconciliations, and P & L.
- Support new product onboarding by compiling business and operational requirements, coordinating testing activities, and validating go-live readiness criteria.
- Document setup standards, operating procedures, data flows, and control frameworks related to new product onboarding and ongoing support.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues, resolve data quality concerns, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Experience with the Geneva Portfolio Accounting System, including running RSL reports for positions, cash, and P & L, is a plus but not required.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas, for reconciliations, reporting, and ad hoc analysis
- Exposure to data analytics or light scripting tools such as Python or Alteryx is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar workflow/documentation tools for managing requirements, changes, testing, and process documentation.
