Finance Analyst General Accounting (Record-to-Report)

Role & Responsibilities-

We are seeking motivated and detail-orientedFinance Analyst General Accountingto join ABB's team in Bangalore.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support general accounting activities in line with defined strategies, policies,

and procedures. Each day, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing record to report data. You will also

showcase your expertise by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with the relevant accounting standards.

This role is contributing to the Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions

Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies

Executing accounting analyses and reports in support of finance and business leaders

Preparing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing and processing entire fixed asset

related daily transactions (Acquisitions, Retirements, Transfers)

Handling the entire fixed Asset reporting and internal and external audit activities

Required Qualifications & Experience-

Education & Experience:

• Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree inAccounting, Finance, or Commerce. (Graduation mustbe from a full-time, classroom-based program.)
• Experience:2 to 6 years of relevant professional experienceinGeneral Accounting(Record-to-Report/R2R) within aMultinational Corporation (MNC)orShared Serviceenvironment.

Core Skills & Knowledge:

• Accounting Expertise:Proven experience in core General Accounting functions, includingGeneral Ledger (GL)maintenance, month-end close processes, and the broaderRecord-to-Report (R2R)cycle.
• ERP Proficiency:Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience withSAP.
• Data Analysis:Proficiency inMS ExcelandMS Office Suitewith the ability to leverage these tools for advanced data analysis and reporting.
• Attention to Detail:Demonstratedhigh level of attention to detailand unwavering commitment todata accuracy.

• Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively and confidently withglobal stakeholders.
