Job Description

Department: Finance

Reports To: HR & Finance Manager

Direct Reports: None

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Employment Type: Full-time

Note: Candidate will also need to manage the portfolio of the ownership in Hyderabad, particularly for data entry and accounting.

Role Objective

Ensure timely, cost-effective procurement and disciplined stores management with accurate stock records, proper receiving controls, and minimal inventory variance.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

Raise PR/PO as per approved requisitions; follow vendor selection and rate comparison process.

Coordinate deliveries, ensure quality checks, and manage vendor communication and negotiations.

Maintain approved vendor list and track lead times and service levels.

Stores & Inventory

Receive goods with GRN, ensure FIFO/FEFO, and maintain bin cards/stock registers.

Issue stock against authorized requisitions; track consumption and investigate variances.

Conduct weekly/monthly stock counts; maintain minimum/maximum stock levels to avoid stock-outs.

Documentation & Controls

Ensure invoice matching (POGRNInvoice) and submit documents for payments.

Maintain expiry control and hygiene for consumables; ensure storage safety.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Cost & Efficiency

Purchase savings vs last purchase price/benchmark; on-time delivery %.

Number of stock-out incidents for critical items.

Vendor performance score (quality, timeliness, responsiveness).

Inventory Integrity

Inventory variance % and value; expiry/wastage value.

GRN/issue documentation compliance and audit findings.

Qualifications, Experience & Certifications

Graduate (mandatory): Bachelor's degree in commerce/supply chain/business administration or related discipline.

2+ years of experience in Purchasing/Inventory Control.

2+ Years of experience in Accounting/Audit Control.

Strong documentation discipline and Excel skills.

Indicative CTC: 8 LPA

Note: Final compensation depends on experience, property positioning, shift requirements and candidate fit.

Work Conditions

Shift-based roster; includes weekends/holidays as per operational requirements.

Grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards must be maintained at all times.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand/walk for extended periods (where role requires).

Code of Conduct & Compliance

Follow Bmi SOPs, brand standards, and guest data privacy practices.

Adhere to safety, fire, hygiene and security protocols, report incidents immediately.

Maintain accurate records/logs as required for audits and statutory compliance.
