Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
- Conduct thorough bank and ledger reconciliations, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
- Collaborate closely with internal program and operations teams to monitor project budgets and expenditure related to EPR schemes and waste collection initiatives, ensuring financial alignment with operational goals.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and analyses, providing clear insights to support decision-making and uphold transparency across the organisation.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is meticulously organised and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to enhancing financial controls and processes, demonstrating a proactive approach to efficiency and accountability within our dynamic circular economy model.
Experience and Qualification Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA Inter/pursuing CA or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a fast-paced or impact-driven organisation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP B1) and MS Excel, with a solid understanding of Indian accounting standards and taxation frameworks (GST, TDS).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments, translating financial information for non-finance stakeholders and fostering a culture of financial awareness.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and meticulous approach to financial management and process improvement in a dynamic environment.
