Support Sales: Work closely with Sales and Solution teams as a functional Finance and Accounting Services SME to help develop value proposition for our clients:
Engage with client teams to understand their current landscape, and help define the scope of potential Operate engagement, both in terms of functional scope, and the associated effort in terms of people;
Assess opportunities for deliverability and asses risk;
Identify potential areas where Deloitte can drive productivity and/or other value as part of the engagement;
Help conduct due diligence to validate proposed solution and represent the delivery organisation in client Orals and Sales Presentations.
Support Delivery: Interim support to help with delivery of large and/or complex scope as part of Finance and Accounting Operate engagements:
Establish and manage Operate teams to service specific client requirements;
Be accountable for quality of service and client satisfaction within specific functional areas, across a whole engagement or portfolio of client engagements.
Setup up operational processes and controls to meet agreed service levels
Coach new team leads and managers with delivery management
Drive continuous improvement
Oversee targeted interventions to solve specific delivery issues.
Develop Capability & Offering:
Develop assets that bring clarity of offerings and enable rapid development of proposals, standard solutions for new engagement discussions – including detailed offering scope, standard delivery structures, Service Performance Metrics and Value drivers;
Help develop standard suite of assets to help drive client value within your specific area of functional expertise.
Desired qualifications
Finance and/or accounting related qualifications
Over 10 years of experience in with finance or accounting teams (including supervisory roles), preferably as part of large scale outsourcing/BPO engagements, or within the finance function in industry. Alternatively, you have experience as a functional consultant on transformation programs that involved major technology or process transformation.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A track record of successful leadership in complex cloud projects.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to lead and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to travel within Asia Pacific region as may be needed.
Flexibility and adaptability to different cultures, time zones, and work practices, adjusting communication and approach accordingly.
