Job Description
The primary role is to support the accounting and finance functions and perform day-to-day tasks related to these
functions collaborating closely with the incumbent CFO based in France. The position will report to the Finance
Lead and be based in Bengaluru, India.
Duties And Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be able to accurately perform the following:
- Enter journal entries into general ledger, review and maintain general ledger and generate related reports using the Intacct general ledger system.
- Accounts Payable: Accounting of supplier and vendor bills, payments and reconciliation
- Prepare and review payrolls entries
- Monthly invoicing of customers in subscription-based billing environment or similar
- Prepare monthly & quarterly Financials as per reporting timelines
- Review and prepare Excel files analyzing general ledger data, payroll, revenue and other data.
- Respond to questions and provide support for taxation and audit processes.
- Assist with reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Professional Qualifications/Skills
- Ideal candidate is one who has supported Accounting Operations for European geographies, particularly for France for about 3-5 years, typically in a SME environment. Candidates from large accounting teams in India supporting big French companies can also be considered
- Familiarity with European accounting packages like Pennylane
- Proficient in other Microsoft office applications.
- Ability to quickly learn expense reimbursement, supplier management packages like Bill.com or Expensify
- CMAs with 1-2 years experience, B.Com with 3-5 years experience in all accounting aspects mentioned above
