Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Application Module Support: Provide comprehensive support for the following Finacle 10.x Application modules:
  • Branch Operations
  • CASA, TD, Loans, Trade Finance and Locker
  • Alternate Delivery Channels
  • Payment & Financial Inclusion Support: Support related processes, including:
  • NEFT/RTGS Process
  • SWIFT
  • Clearing
  • Utility Payments
  • Financial Inclusion Related
  • Error Analysis & Troubleshooting: Conduct product fatal error analysis and review application logs to identify and resolve issues.
  • Finacle Customization: Support Finacle Core customization activities.
  • Process Execution & Management: Execute processes and procedures as defined. Manage application deployments according to defined processes.
  • Monitoring & Availability: Monitor Application Services and ensure application availability.
  • Vendor & Service Provider Coordination: Log calls with internal or external Service Providers and follow up to closure. Track and escalate calls to Distribution List (DL) / Service Providers if assistance is required. Update assigned calls regularly.
  • Maintenance & Testing: Execute Application Maintenance activities as per the defined checklist. Perform primary testing for fixes received from vendors in T&D. Assist the bank in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for vendor-provided fixes.
  • Change Management: Follow the change management process and raise Change Management Approvals (CMAs) for moving fixes / releases to production.
  • Disaster Recovery (DR): Carry out DC-DR activities as and when scheduled.
  • Documentation: Maintain and publish Minutes of the Meeting for all meetings with vendors and banks.
  • System Hygiene: Perform deletion of application trace files and movement of log files to maintain sufficient space availability on application servers.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in supporting Finacle 10.x Application modules including Branch Operations, CASA, TD, Loans, Trade Finance, and Locker.
  • Understanding of Finacle-related processes such as NEFT/RTGS, SWIFT, Clearing, Utility Payments, and Financial Inclusion.
  • Ability to perform product fatal error analysis and review application logs.
  • Knowledge of Finacle Core customization.
  • Familiarity with application deployment processes and procedures.
  • Skills in monitoring application services and availability.
  • Ability to log and follow up on issues with internal/external service providers.
  • Proficiency in executing application maintenance activities and performing primary testing for fixes.
  • Understanding of change management processes for production movements.
  • Capability to perform DC-DR activities.
  • Strong documentation skills for meeting minutes.
  • Ability to manage application trace and log files for space maintenance.
