About Us

Kathputlee Arts & Films is an independent production house with films in active development and theatrical release. We have been building creative work since 2007 — across original cinema, branded content, and animation. We are now entering our most ambitious phase: releasing films we have made into the world.

The Role

This is not an intern role. This is not a support role.

We are looking for a Film Marketing & PR Lead who will own and drive the marketing and communications strategy for our upcoming releases. You will work directly with the founding team and co-producers, manage agency partners, PR vendors, and digital teams. You bring structure where there is none. You do not wait to be told what to do.

What You Will Own

• End-to-end film marketing strategy — theatrical, OTT, festival circuit, and diaspora markets
• PR planning and agency briefing: press junkets, critic outreach, media relations
• Brand partnerships, influencer campaigns, and bulk booking outreach
• Coordination across co-production partners and key stakeholders
• Campaign budgets, timelines, and delivery accountability

Who You Are

• 5–10 years in film marketing, entertainment PR, or media
• You have worked on at least one theatrical release — you know the machine
• You can hold a room with producers, directors, and distributors
• You build structure, not dependency
• Mumbai or Delhi based preferred; open to remote with travel commitments
