We are seeking a talented Film Editor to bring the Director's vision to life. The Film Editor will be responsible for reviewing extensive footage, assembling it into a cohesive final product, and adhering to project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand the Director's vision by reading scripts
- Visit filming locations to gain context and insight
- Review and select scenes that align with the Director's vision
- Trim and edit segments of footage to create a seamless narrative
- Collaborate with Sound Editors, Sound Effects Editors, and Cinematographers
- Make revisions based on the Director's feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Film and Television, Media, or a related field
- Proven experience in the film industry
- Proficiency with video editing tools, techniques, and software
- Familiarity with camera equipment
- Strong critical and analytical skills
