• 3 – 5 years of experience in Managed File Transfer (MFT) administration, operations, or

related IT field

• Understanding of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS/SSH)

• Exposure to MFT platforms and file transfer tools

• Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell preferred)

• Knowledge of Apache NiFi for building, monitoring, and troubleshooting data flows

• Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems

• Interest in cloud technologies (AWS preferred)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to follow documented procedures and work within established guidelines

Requirements

• Assist in monitoring MFT platform performance and uptime

• Support day-to-day file transfer operations, including job monitoring, troubleshooting, and

incident resolution under guidance

• Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers while documenting findings

• Perform routine file transfer tasks, including onboarding new file transfer partners and

updating configurations

• Create and maintain documentation for workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and

troubleshooting guides

• Follow security and compliance standards for handling sensitive information

• Work with internal teams to understand requirements and implement changes under

supervision

• Assist in maintaining logs and audit records for operational activities

• Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance skills

• Support automation initiatives by writing or modifying basic scripts under mentorship

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data transfers between internal

and external systems
