About Lokal :
In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren't really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they'd come back every day; once there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything online.
This spark became Lokal. Our first instinct was to put everything in one place & one app - local updates, classifieds, jobs, matrimony and more. It worked, till it stopped working. Users gave us the insight - when one use case outweighs the others, everything else seems like noise. We listened. Like how Craigslist quietly seeded a generation of focused companies & marketplaces, we began unbundling and verticalising.
Today, Lokal is a
house of focused apps, many products, one mission:

About the Team:
The
Marketing Team at Lokal drives user growth, brand awareness, and monetization by crafting campaigns tailored for Bharat's diverse audiences. We blend performance marketing, regional storytelling, and partner collaborations to amplify Lokal's reach and impact ensuring every campaign connects authentically with our users while fuelling business growth.
Role Summary
Responsible for visiting and verifying allocated companies within assigned zones across the Hyderabad region. The job involves on-ground field verification, identity checks, and capturing accurate details through the provided CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit and verify companies assigned in the daily/weekly list
- Conduct on-site verification of business identity, address, and operations
- Record and update verification details in the CRM
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports
- Coordinate with the internal team for status updates and clarifications
Requirements
- Must own a two-wheeler and be comfortable travelling across Hyderabad
- Basic communication skills; regional language fluency required; English (basic) is sufficient
- CRM proficiency is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned zones
