Salary: upto 4 LPA

Role Description

The Field Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for delivering consistent training across Basil outlets. This role involves conducting new hire and refresher training on operations, food safety, service standards, and brand guidelines. The Field Trainer will visit outlets regularly to observe performance, provide coaching, and support managers in onboarding and skill development. Responsibilities include preparing training materials, running practical sessions on the floor, tracking training completion and effectiveness, and sharing feedback with leadership. The role also collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement new procedures, support store launches, and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in training or coaching frontline teams in hospitality, QSR, retail, or a similar customer-facing environment up to 1 year (It could be an internship experience as well).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across outlets in Bengaluru and spend most of the time in-store, on the floor with teams.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and document training sessions, track learner progress, and follow up on performance gaps.
  • Comfort with using digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, training trackers, learning materials, messaging platforms) for coordination and reporting.
  • Problem-solving mindset, patience, and the ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume operations while supporting diverse teams.
  • Prior experience as a trainer is preferred.
  • Graduate degree or equivalent practical experience in hospitality, business, or a related field is an advantage.
