Field Specialist-II

We are seeking an experienced Field Specialist II for delivering safe, high-quality field operations and technical services at customer well sites. The role involves equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, data analysis, client interaction, and ensuring service delivery excellence. Senior specialists may lead crews, perform engineering calculations, provide technical expertise, and manage complex installations

Responsibilities

Operations & Service Delivery

  • Execute field operations, equipment preparation, mobilization, and job execution.
  • Operate, test, maintain, and troubleshoot field equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to optimize performance.
  • Prepare job reports, service tickets, and related documentation.
  • Remain available for 24/7 field support as required.
  • Manage wellsite inventory, tools, and equipment.
  • Serve as a key technical interface with customers.
  • Deliver superior service quality and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide technical recommendations and operational support

Client & Stakeholder Management

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, mentor, and guide junior field personnel
  • Coordinate crew activities and ensure effective execution at site

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to Weatherford's HSE, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in safety meetings, JHAs, and toolbox talks.
  • Promote safe work practices and environmental protection

Operational Support

  • Manage inventory and field supplies effectively
  • Collaborate with repair & maintenance teams on equipment failures
  • Be available on a 24/7 on-call basis as required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 1-2.5 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Have a High School Diploma.
  • Be Technical/Vocational certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification from a recognized vocational or technical institute

  • MPD Deepwater knowledge and Experience
  • Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electricity.
  • Basic Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Quality control and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding field environments.
