Its products include India's first carbon dioxide-based biting insect trap for commercial use and the first propane-powered mosquito trap for consumers. Life Shield emphasizes solutions that are safer and more effective than conventional options by targeting insect breeding cycles. The company also offers comprehensive doorstep service and maintenance for its machines, ensuring reliable performance for customers.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in New Delhi. The Field Services Engineer will install, commission, and configure mosquito trap systems at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and safe operation. The role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment, as well as diagnosing and resolving technical issues in the field. The engineer will provide on-site technical support, product demonstrations, and basic user training to customers and facility staff. Daily responsibilities also include documenting service activities, maintaining service records, coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and escalations, and upholding safety and quality standards during all field visits.
Qualifications
  • Strong field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and system checks for electromechanical equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
  • Hands-on preventive maintenance skills, including scheduled inspections, calibration, cleaning, and component replacement.
  • Customer service capabilities, including clear communication, professional conduct at customer sites, and user training on equipment operation and basic care.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally for field assignments, sometimes on short notice.
  • Basic familiarity with safety standards and safe handling of gas-based or powered equipment; prior experience with HVAC, appliances, or similar field equipment is an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
