Field Technician Trainee – TRS
Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Technician Trainee – TRS based in Mumbai. The trainee will support the maintenance, inspection, installation, and troubleshooting of TRS equipment and related systems in both workshop and field environments.
- The role involves assisting senior technicians and engineers in daily operational activities, performing preventative maintenance, supporting rig operations, and ensuring equipment readiness as per operational and safety standards. Candidates will undergo hands-on technical training and gain exposure to field operations, workshop processes, and client support activities.
- The position requires adherence to company HSE policies, willingness to work in dynamic environments, and readiness to travel to client locations and rigs as required.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in inspection, maintenance, and repair of TRS tools and equipment
- Support workshop operations and field service activities
- Participate in equipment installation, testing, and troubleshooting
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and operational procedures
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with HSE and company safety standards
- Coordinate with senior technicians and operational teams for smooth execution of tasks
- Support mobilization and demobilization activities for field operations
- Qualifications & Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (2024/2025 batch preferred)
- Basic technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical equipment and maintenance practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to travel and work at field locations/rig sites when required
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards
- Hands-on attitude with interest in workshop and field operationsAbility to travel
- Ability to lift up to 75 sounds
