Join Our Team as a Field Service Engineer – Solar Cell & Ingot Metrology / Characterization Tools (New Delhi)

EdgeTech Scientific Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its technical support team and looking for a Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, and after-sales technical services for solar cell and ingot metrology & characterization tools.

This role offers an opportunity to work with sophisticated metrology and characterization systems while engaging with leading solar manufacturers, research institutes, and advanced R&D facilities.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking motivated and technically skilled professionals with a strong background in electronics, instrumentation, process technologies, and field service support.

Educational Background: MSc in Physics/Electronics, B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics Engineering, or Diploma in Electronics Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in installation, commissioning, servicing, or technical support of solar cell and ingot metrology & characterization tools, process tools.

Skills: Strong understanding of solar cell manufacturing processes, ingot technologies, materials characterization techniques, and thin-film technologies.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively across India for installation, commissioning, servicing, and technical support activities at customer facilities.

What You'll Do

Install, commission, and support solar cell and ingot metrology & characterization tools at customer sites.

Travel across India to perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer support activities.

Provide on-site technical service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for metrology & characterization tools.

Perform system calibration, diagnostics, and performance verification to ensure optimal system operation.

Support customers with technical guidance on system operation, process integration, and maintenance.

Conduct technical training and demonstrations for customers and research teams.

Work closely with internal teams and global OEM partners to ensure efficient service support and

customer satisfaction.
