Job Description

1 Plan and organize on-site Service activities on Industrial Steam turbine to interface with customer`s requirements and as per the scope.

Should have experience of 6-9 years on Service of Industrial / Utility Steam Turbine

2 Liaise with projects, engineering and other departments as required to obtain a full technical and commercial briefing prior to travelling to site;

3 Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues related to steam turbines, governors, trip systems, and auxiliary systems.

4 Analyse alarms, trips, and abnormal operating conditions to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

5 Provide on-site and remote technical support during turbine failures, forced outages, and startup issues.

  • Signal troubleshooting(4-20mA,HART,Modbus,Profibus)
  • Knowledge on Siemens PCS7,Honeywell expersion, ABB 800xA

8 Clarify necessary design changes if any in coordination with engineering. Carry out Modifications as authorized to fulfill required specification

9 Conduct all work as required to EHS policy in Siemens Energy

10 Brief / debrief with PM, engineering and other departments as required to feedback problems encountered and solutions implemented whilst commissioning

11 Maintain a full log of Service activities and record any customer delays during outage with complete concise report

12 Carry out specialist troubleshooting activities worldwide

13Train customer personnel during Service assignment if required as per contract
