Your Role

  • We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our growing North India service team. You will be the face of Millq in the field installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting Milli-Q water purification systems at customer sites (pharma QC labs, R&D centers, academic institutions, and contract research organizations). This is a hands-on role with high visibility and excellent growth opportunities within the organization.
  • Perform installation, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of Milli-Q systems (benchtop, central, and large-scale systems) including RO/EDI modules, UV lamps, polishing cartridges, dispensers, and distribution loops.
  • Execute preventive maintenance, calibration, and annual certification as per Millq service protocols and customer SLAs.
  • Diagnose and repair system issues related to water quality (conductivity, TOC, bacteria), flow rate, pressure, leaks, electrical faults, and sensor failures using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and Milli-Q software.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support; respond to service calls within 2448 hours.
  • Train lab users on system operation, daily maintenance, and best practices for ultrapure water.
  • Complete all service documentation in CRM (Salesforce/SAP) service reports, parts consumption, installation records, and compliance certificates.
  • Manage spare parts inventory in the company-provided service vehicle.
  • Collaborate with sales, application, and technical support teams for complex cases and upgrades.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and travel up to 70% within the North India territory.
  • Provide product feedback to R&D and help improve service processes.

Who You Are

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical /Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10 years of hands-on field service experience in laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, water purification systems, or similar capital equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of water purification technologies (RO, EDI, UV, ultrafiltration, ion exchange).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and control systems.
  • Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and regulatory standards (GLP, GMP, USP , ASTM).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel Soft Skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (Hindi + English mandatory; regional language is a plus).
  • Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Based out of Delhi, India (covering North India territory Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, UP, Rajasthan)
