We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment at hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to ensure optimal equipment performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and calibrate medical devices (such as Monitors, ECG, Syringe pump,etc) at client sites as per manufacturer specifications.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to clients; address operational issues and user concerns effectively.
- Training: Train end-users (doctors, nurses, technicians) on proper usage and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and equipment history; update CRM/service management tools.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all service activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and healthcare safety regulations.
- Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the supply team for part requisitions.
Requirements
- Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 1-4 years of field service experience in the medical device industry preferred.
- Familiarity with critical care equipment is must.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel across assigned region.
