Installation Supervision, Testing & Commissioning
- Perform testing and commissioning of Qualitrol equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Install, configure, and integrate hardware and software components.
- Ensure all systems meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
- Conduct site acceptance tests (SAT) and factory acceptance tests (FAT).
2. Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical, or software issues.
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support to resolve faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure long-term system reliability.
- Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
3. Customer Support & Training
- Train end-users on the correct operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
- Report all issues promptly.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Follow local safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with customer regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and adhere to proper safety procedures.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare detailed service reports, logs, Salesforce updates, and technical documentation.
- Record test results, troubleshooting steps, and resolution processes.
- Provide feedback to Applications or Engineering teams for continuous improvement.
6. Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Attend training and certification programs as required by the company.
- Assist in implementing system upgrades and performance optimizations.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics)
- 2-5 years of field service experience in a similar industry.
- Expertise in Protection Relay, GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear), Transformer Testing, and Commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, drawing schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication skills to manage customer relationships smoothly.
- Willingness to travel across the Middle East and Africa, with occasional international assignments.
- To participate in the client project, submitting a medical report is a compulsory requirement, so it must be submitted before the offer is issued.
- Valid driving license required to apply for an internal license for remote site visits.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to manage customer relationships smoothly.
