Job Description

Reporting to the Service Manager for India. Carrying out the installation, service and maintenance of our state-of-the-art surgical robotic system in India. You'll play a key role in ensuring maximum system up-time and enabling surgical teams to get the best clinical value from the Versius surgical robotic platform and ensuring service agreements and warranty obligations are fulfilled. Responsibilities

  • Perform site surveys, installations, upgrades, and modifications as per CMR quality standards.
  • Carry out timely preventive maintenance (PM) and submit service reports.
  • Diagnose and repair system faults, document all service activities.
  • Maintain and ensure readiness of regional loaner/demo systems.
  • Provide surgical case support for new installations and special requests.
  • Support conferences, live surgeries, and CME programs.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and timely service delivery for regional customers.
  • Assist other regions with service support when required.
  • Maintain regional service records, reports, and weekly activity updates.
  • Achieve service performance targets and objectives set by the Line Manager.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best service practices.
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and quality guidelines.

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have/be:

  • Diploma/B. E/B. Tech in Biomedical/Electronics/ Instrumentation, or equivalent
  • A can-do hands-on attitude for a variety of tasks
  • Pro-active service mindset
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in high pressure situations and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Good listener and strong communication skills (both oral & written)
  • Willingness to work in a cross functional environment (Sales, Customer Ops, Product Support)
  • Proven track record in independently trouble shooting complex electro-mechanical systems
  • A mechanical aptitude for performing any mechanical component repair or replacement to exacting standards
  • Good written and spoken English and the ability to use Microsoft Office suite tools.
