Role Description The Field Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kollam, responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. On a day-to-day basis, this role will visit prospective and existing customers, conduct in-person meetings and presentations, and clearly communicate the value of CyHive's solutions. The Field Sales Specialist will build and maintain a qualified pipeline, follow up on leads, prepare proposals or quotations, and negotiate terms in line with company guidelines. This role will also collaborate closely with sales operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding, high customer satisfaction, and accurate reporting of sales activities. Regular responsibilities include tracking performance against targets, updating CRM records, gathering market and competitor insights, and representing the company at local events or relevant industry activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal presentation and effective written follow-up with prospects and customers.
  • Proven Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on building trust, handling inquiries professionally, and ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Demonstrated Sales experience, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals in a field or territory-based role.
  • Ability in Lead Generation and qualification, using multiple channels (visits, referrals, networking, events) to identify potential customers.
  • Familiarity with Sales Operations, including basic CRM usage, reporting, and adherence to sales processes and documentation standards.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with strong negotiation, relationship-building, and time-management skills.
  • Comfort with frequent local travel to meet clients and attend meetings or events.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in B2B field sales or technology/solutions sales, and a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
