Role Review:
At THB, sales is not just about taking ordersit's about building presence, trust, and repeat business on-ground. We are looking for a driven Sales Representative / BD Executive who will be responsible for expanding THB's retail and B2B footprint across Pune.
This is a hands-on, feet-on-street role ideal for someone who understands FMCG sales dynamics and enjoys building long-term relationships with retailers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Distributor Sales [General Trade]
- Manage and grow General Trade (kirana stores, modern trade where applicable) in assigned areas
- Take regular orders from retailers and distributors
- Ensure timely replenishment and prevent stock-outs
- Monitor secondary sales and push slow-moving SKUs
B2B & Institutional sales
- Identify and onboard corporate, office, caf, gym, hotel, and institutional clients
- Pitch THB products for gifting, pantry stocking, and bulk consumption
- Manage negotiations, order closures, and repeat orders
Visibility, Merchandising & promotions
- Ensure correct shelf placement, visibility, and hygiene at retail outlets
- Support execution of in-store promotions, sampling, and small activations
- Coordinate with marketing team for on-ground brand initiatives
Operations & on-ground coordination
- Coordinate with distributors, production, and logistics teams for smooth deliveries
- Share regular feedback on market trends, pricing, competition, and consumer response
- Maintain basic sales and visit reports
Who should apply
- 13 years of experience in FMCG field sales only
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with targets and on-ground execution
- Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English
Requirements
- Two-wheeler mandatory
- Willingness to work 6 days a week
- Prior experience in food / FMCG mandatory
