Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Sales Representative role based in Varanasi. The Field Sales Representative will visit hotels and homestays to present SaasAro's distribution solutions, explain product benefits, and support property owners in adopting the platform. The role includes generating and qualifying leads, conducting in-person meetings and product demos, negotiating commercial terms within guidelines, and closing new business. The representative will maintain regular contact with existing partners to ensure satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and gather feedback for product improvement. Daily responsibilities also include updating the CRM with visit reports, tracking sales activities against targets, and collaborating with internal teams such as customer success and product to resolve partner issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales, business development, or account management, preferably in hospitality, travel, or SaaS.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships in person.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, basic spreadsheets, and mobile apps to manage leads, track activities, and report results.
  • Ability to plan efficient visit routes, manage a local territory, and work independently to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Knowledge of hotel or homestay operations is an advantage, along with an interest in technology and digital distribution.
  • Fluency in English and local languages used in Varanasi; strong interpersonal skills across diverse backgrounds.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Varanasi and nearby areas and work on-site with partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
