Department: License Compliance – Feet On Street Campaign
Role Overview:
The License Compliance Executive/Manager (FOS) will be responsible for ensuring
adherence to Siemens software licensing policies by engaging with target companies.
The role involves educating customers on the risks of unauthorized software usage,
assisting them in regularizing licenses, and managing compliance cases from initiation
to closure.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Awareness:
• Visit target companies on a daily basis to identify potential unauthorized usage
of Siemens software.
• Inform customers about the legal and operational risks of using unlicensed
software.
• Advise customers on the benefits of compliance and guide them through the
regularization process.
Compliance & Case Management:
• Assist customers in procuring valid licenses to regularize software usage.
• Manage assigned compliance cases, including tracking software value, setting
conclusion dates, and coordinating payment processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and case progress.
Stakeholder Coordination:
• Collaborate with local Siemens software resellers and respective Sales
Managers to conclude cases amicably.
• Ensure smooth communication between customers, resellers, and internal
teams.
Reporting & Forecasting:
• Provide timely updates on case status and compliance forecasts to
management.
• Prepare reports on progress, risks, and revenue opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of software licensing compliance and related legal
implications.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.
