Role Description This is a full-time, on site Field Sales Engineer role based in Gurugram. The Field Sales Engineer will identify and pursue sales opportunities for industrial automation and instrumentation products, including sensors, controllers, flow meters, safety devices, and control panels. Responsibilities include visiting customer sites, understanding technical requirements, proposing suitable solutions, preparing quotations, and supporting negotiations to close deals. The role involves managing key accounts, coordinating with internal technical and manufacturing teams, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support, demonstrations, and troubleshooting guidance. The Field Sales Engineer will also maintain accurate sales records, participate in market development activities, and contribute to customer relationship management and revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Sales Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to understand industrial automation and instrumentation applications.
  • Strong Sales and Sales Management capabilities to achieve targets, develop new business, and manage the sales funnel.
  • Proficiency in Account Management to build long term relationships, handle key accounts, and provide ongoing customer support.
  • Experience with industrial automation products such as Sensors,Flame Safeguard System , safety systems, and control panels is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field preferred.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation, and time management abilities, with readiness to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Prior field sales experience in industrial automation or related sectors is an advantage.
