Role Description These are full-time, on-site Field Sales Engineer roles based in Mumbai, Delhi & Bhopal . The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, visiting customer sites, and presenting suitable technical solutions. Day-to-day activities include meeting prospective and existing clients, understanding their technical requirements, preparing and delivering product demonstrations, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support. The role involves managing a sales pipeline, preparing quotations, negotiating terms within defined guidelines, and working closely with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure timely order execution. The Field Sales Engineer will also track market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to support product positioning and sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Sales Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into customer solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in Sales and Account Management, including building relationships, managing a customer portfolio, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in Sales Management activities such as pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting using CRM or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, organize customer visits, and manage time and territory effectively.
  • Comfort with frequent local travel in and around nearby regions, as required for customer meetings and site visits.
  • Prior experience in sales of plastic welding machinery, piping industries, NDT testing equipment, industrial heating/tools, or similar industrial machinery.
