Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Sales Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Field Sales Engineer will visit customer locations to understand technical and commercial requirements, present suitable solutions, and provide product demonstrations. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals and quotations, following up on leads, and supporting negotiations to close deals. The role involves coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate technical specifications, timely delivery, and after-sales support. The Field Sales Engineer will also maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, and provide feedback from the field to help improve products and services.
Qualifications

  • Solid expertise in Sales Engineering and Electrical Engineering to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability in Sales and Sales Management to drive business growth, manage pipelines, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong Account Management skills to build, maintain, and expand long-term customer relationships.
  • Relevant technical degree or diploma (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline).
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in the field with regular customer visits and travel as needed.
  • Proficiency with basic office and CRM software tools for reporting, documentation, and sales tracking.
  • Prior experience in industrial, automotive, or technical product sales is an advantage.
