JOB SPECIFICATION: Field Officer Government Partnerships

3. Key Objectives of the Job
- Strengthen coordination with government departments and key stakeholders at state, district and block levels.
- Ensure smooth implementation of training programs, monitoring, and field activities to support effective child protection initiatives.
4. Major Deliverables
1. Coordination & Liaison
- Coordinate with all relevant departments at state, district and block levels in the posting state and in other states, as and when required.
- Collect, verify, and compile state, district and block-level data relevant to the program.
- Establish strong working relationships with government authorities, committees, and key stakeholders.
- Provide logistics support such as finding venue/hotel, food vendor or any other local support needed on the field as & when needed
2. Program Implementation Support
- Ensure effective implementation of Cluster coordinators/govt. officers/teachers training/counsellors training or any other training programs in coordination with state, district and block authorities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to state/district/block officials for smooth execution of program activities.
- Support the Post-Training Unit or any other teams, in program follow-ups.
3. Data Collection & Reporting
- Support Research team for permissions, field work, data collections etc.
4. Meetings & Representation
- Attend and facilitate meetings with concerned authorities at the state/district/block level. Represent the organization in state/district/block-level forums, review meetings, and committees related to Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) and child protection.
5. Monitoring & Field Visits
- Conduct regular monitoring visits to blocks and districts to track program progress and implementation quality.
- Prepare monitoring reports and share feedback with the program/ monitoring team.
6. Reports & Documentation
- Prepare, maintain, and ensure timely submission of reports to the state/district/block and/or project unit.
- Document field findings, success stories, and challenges for program improvement.
7. Events & Campaigns
- Identify opportunities for collaboration in state/district/block events such as Child Safety Week or other child protection initiatives.
- Ensure organizational participation and visibility in such events.
8. Committees & Advocacy
- Actively participate in district/block-level committees related to CSA and child rights.
- Advocate for improved implementation of child protection programs.
5. Job Challenge
- Managing coordination across multiple government levels.
- Frequent travel to state/districts/blocks.
6. Other Responsibilities
- Ensuring accurate and timely data submission.
- Handling diverse stakeholder expectations. Working on the sensitive issue of Child Sexual Abuse.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and reporting
7. Educational Qualification
- Master's / bachelor's degree in social work, Sociology, Rural Development, Psychology, Education, or related field.
8. Desired Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in government liaison, program coordination, teacher training, government education/training systems.
- Knowledge of child rights, CSA (Child Sexual Abuse) prevention.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and networking skills.
- Ability to travel frequently across districts within the state and outside the state as required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and report writing.
- Fluency in Hindi and English (written and spoken).
9. Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
10. Salary: Rs. 30000 to Rs.35000/- (Based on experience) + Travel reimbursement + Therapeutic allowance
